ENGAGE, RESPOND, SPIRIT
These are the immediate "I saw this and now I want to do that", sort of behaviours: "the waterfall was majestic so I had to jump off of it". They are experiences grounded in what our senses see, taste, feel and hear.
This is a little deeper, but not necessarily more valuable. To respond is to be less instinctual, and requires more processing. "The sight of the children sleeping rough made me feel disturbed, so I donated to a charity that works with rough sleeping children".
This is based in faith in its broadest sense, and looks to spiritual connection by considering what has been done, whilst also thinking ahead to what we want to see. "I remember this experience, and it has shaped me this way...", or perhaps: "I'm reducing my air travel as I hope for a greener future".
These pillars are not hierarchical, nor are they linear; they can all interrelate or standalone based on the experience.
